A Dallas/Fort Worth based marimba band formed in 2007 by Dana Sudborough. The group performs traditional buzz marimba music of Chiapas, Mexico and Guatemala on authentic marimbas from Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico. In addition the group has repertoire for classical and latin-jazz. The group uses Mexican buzz marimbas (or Zapotecanos), bass, percussion, keyboards, and horns depending on the performance (number of performers can range from 2-14). The group is available for parties, festivals, educational, cultural, wedding and dance events. Hire us and find out what all the BUZZ is about!
